Export (Parametric CAD)
Freeform/trace geometry only. Scales every section by this percentage and leaves the traced length unchanged, to allow for mould and laminate shrinkage. Ignored by the Onshape 1:1 export, which is defined as an exact reference with no compensation.
Where the pattern is cut when the split export type is selected. The cut runs across the length; the clearance slider above opens a gap between the halves.
A keyed boss is added to the first half and a matching socket to the second, so the printed halves rejoin in one orientation only. The socket is opened by the fit clearance. A pin that would break through the wall is refused with the maximum the section allows.
